Position: Senior Product Marketing Manager (Software) 

Location: Scotts Valley California OR Hybrid/Remote



Universal Audio (UA) is seeking a passionate, creative, and self-motivated individual to join our marketing team as a product marketing manager for our award-winning line of software products. In this role, you will be responsible for go-to-market strategy for the entire UAD software ecosystem including perpetual and subscription products. You will work closely with cross-functional leaders in Product, Sales, Finance, Business Applications, and Marketing to help launch products and ensure we hit revenue targets, OKR’s, and most importantly delight our customers. Along with launching new products, you will also ensure we market all current and new products throughout their entire lifecycle. 


Responsibilities:


      

  • Define marketing strategies that will continue to drive product growth in the software category through new customer acquisition and nurturing of existing customers.

  • Partner with Growth and Lifecycle team to help create strategies that drive subscriptions including increasing MRR and ARR while lowering Churn.

  • Provide strategic support and sales enablement for retail and e-commerce teams to drive the growth of both Native and UAD-2 software products.

  • Partner with Product to define new products and updates to existing products including helping to set pricing, messaging, unique value propositions, and revenue targets.

  • Drive GTM strategy and execution for new product launches, bundles, and product updates including defining GTM milestones and driving to coordinated launch date.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the creation and execution of GTM strategies including Growth, Lifecycle, Brand, E-commerce, Release Marketing, Channel, and Customer Care teams.

  • Participate in user research sessions and do competitive analysis that helps refine persona, TAM, and market opportunities.

  • Create and refine 12 to 18-month marketing programs that ensure all our software products are supported beyond launch and have an end-of-life plan.

  • Be the primary point of contact for any marketing-related initiatives for software products including partnerships, sales enablement, and third-party opportunities.


Qualifications:


      

  • Experience in music recording/creation technology including effects processors/plug-ins, digital audio workstations, recording interfaces, and virtual instruments expertise preferred.

  • Successful track record of launching new products and driving GTM strategy for a portfolio of products.

  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to create strategy decks, messaging guides, and positioning statements.

  • Strong data literacy and reporting skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and report results to executive leadership and broader team.

  • Experience working with financial modeling and collaborating with product, sales, and finance teams to create accurate and achievable revenue forecasts.

  • Strong project manager and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organization.

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills (or the equivalent G-Suite tools).

Education/Experience:


      

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 4+ years of Marketing or Product Management experience.


UA Salary Range/Hourly Rate of Pay: California Salary Range = $140K - $170K

Base salary/hourly rate of pay will be based on the cost of labor for the city/state in which the new hire resides, at the time of hire.
